I know that no Chels player deserves any praise today but I have to ask yet again: what exactly does Jorginho contribute?
And are we allowed to criticise Frank yet?

You don't need to sell and buy to beat teams like West Ham, Everton, Bournemouth and Southampton. Worst yet all of these teams were bang in trouble in the relegation zone but playing Lamp's Chelsea gives lift off.
For me Lamps has shown a lot of inexperience which was obviously going to happen. But unless he can turn the poor form of 5 losses in 7 around pretty quick then he will be getting fierce criticism. It's a results game.

I didn't see today#s game, but it's a dreadfully disappointing result after the lifting of the spirits that came from Spurs win. Have said many times now that this would be a roller coaster season (we need a couple of seasons for rebuilding process) with young manager and team. What I didn't expect was our home form to be - at this stage at least - far worse than our away one. Frank has got it right more often than not on the road, largely because we get more room as teams come at us and three full backs and use of wing backs worked spectacularly well at Wolves and Spurs in particular. At home we lack the same a mount of space, but also seem incapable of playing well enough through the channels, or adventurously/ effective enough out wide (not enough taking on and beating players by wingers, getting to byline etc, creating clear-cut chances - have even wondered whether our youngsters are more nervous at the Bridge? ) and Kovacic a big miss when not playing. He and Kante have begun to create v good understanding. But they need a bit of additional assistance in terms of midfield muscle, skill and speed (a fit Reuben L-C would have helped here of course) .

We can criticise but nobody should be calling for his head. He's got us in a position that very few predicated we'd be in before the season and deserves praise for it but he's also certainly made mistakes that people can criticise for. As for Jorginho, he's a good regista and a average CDM. We don't play a style with a Regista anymore so he's just average. Helps us stay more organised with possession and is a calm influence with it but without the ball he's a headless chicken.

He's shown inexperience because he's inexperienced! Give the man a break.
Think what you would've taken at the beginning of the season, personally I would've bitten your hand off for top 4 and through the Champions League group. If you think we're going to suddenly turn into what Liverpool and City are then you're in for a shock. It took Klopp 4 years to build a team capable of winning the league, and he finished 8th in his first year.
If you're truly going to turn on a club legend by enforcing ridiculous expectations, then you need to support someone else. This is a project I think most of us are still very excited about.

Quite agree JD. This is a two to three season rebuilding process, and one which I for one am certainly excited about. But I think it's perfectly ok to expect a bit more in home games against West Ham, Bournemouth and Southampton, as Frank does himself. So I guess how can we also do better in this respect on short term well knowing we are unlikely to be a top top team again for a couple of seasons?

Was at the game today and I could complain about so many performances, tactics and team selection. I could also moan about commitment and how many 50/ 50 challenges we failed to win.
Some posters, fans and some Eds have made criticisms of Jorginho but today him and Kante were ok. There were a lot worse than them two in Blue today but Jorginho for some fans can do nothing right.
CHO, Dave and Emerson gave really poor performances but the worse performance was the team selection and shape.
