I don't trust statistics to judge a player. I don't trawl videos to watch a player and I have no idea what Fifa manager is!
I try to judge players on games I've seen.
So, for me the best defender at the Bridge so far this season was Chilwell. The two best midfielders were Rice and Grealish
I've not been overly impressed with any Premiership forward so far this season.
My guess is we will sign none of the above players and that's fine with me.

Hey Tom, love your comments but this one is a bit odd.
So you don’t judge players by stats, or videos or Football manager but you judge them on their performance at the bridge where we have been below par?!
I don’t think that’s such a great way to look at things either, following your logic we’d have ended up with Papis Cisse, Charlie Adam and Dan Gosling. No disrespect just trying to fully understand how you « judge » players .

Haha, always like your post ELI and you make a fair point by I do only like judging players when I can see them live.
I wouldn’t have picked any of the player’s you’ve mentioned and I’m struggling to remember my best players from the away teams for last season.
Oh and I never take offence about constructive criticism or comment.

Gents the comments in this post did make me chuckle. ELI I can see where your coming from but I think Tom's been a season ticket holder for a long time so probably has seen the same opposition players many times for his judgement. I must say Grealish is a top player. Love the way he glides past players. He would be phenomenal.

Cheers to the both of You. I fully understand what you mean Tom, I also don’t follow stats to judge players I do try and follow them all through the season to see how they fair .
Glad the site is still running strong with the like of Shak and yourself along with a few others. Let’s hope this decade brings more joy to us blues.
