If we do look towards a new Goalkeeper next season or someone to challenge Kepa who would people go for? I can't see the club spending 100m on Oblak after the Kepa deal and price hasn't turned out very well so I think they'll go for a cheaper option. Me personally I would go for a keeper in his 30's experienced and vocal who will command a back line.
I would go for Kasper Schmeichel. I think he's a very underrated keeper and one of the next best keepers in the league after Alisson and Ederson. He's much better than Kepa (Gotta be careful saying that though certain posters will cry on here) . Schmeichel has much better hands and has stronger wrists to block shots. He's not a weak keeper like Kepa and I think with his age and experience it would help our young team massively.
What's you're thoughts on Schmeichel?

Don’t see what everyone’s problem is with Kepa few little errors everyone on him he will turn out to be one of the best.

I do rate Schmeichel, I wouldn’t mind signing him as long as he didn't cost a fortune.

We should have kept Bulka. Nick Pope or Aaron Ramsdale for me. I just don't think that Kepa is good enough or will ever be good enough.

Agree Darren wood we're all entitled to opinions you don’t have to agree with the long standing posters on this site like they think you have to.
I’d love Oblak but the club won’t spend that big on a keeper again after the Kepa fee and I don’t think we’ll get much money back from Kepa after his performances lol.
I’d definitely try for Schmeichel, ’ore experienced players is what we’re in need of.
