Am I the only one who thought we played pretty well yesterday. We dominated that game and was badly let down by a couple of individual errors.
At 1-0 down Tammy misses a sitter and Werner hits the crossbar, we could have easily been 2-1 up before Silva's slip.
I really enjoyed the 2nd half, I thought the link up play between the midfield and the attack was a lot better than we've seen for a long time and thought we looked very dangerous. Kai oozed class and Mount seems to grow as a player each game. People seem to forget we are a work in progress and it's going to take time. The season has only just started, we have 35 games left to play with some very special players to come into the team.
Give the squad some time to gel and I think it's going to be a very successful season for us! KTBFFH.

Individual mistakes and a soft set piece goal. Three shots three goals. That’s worse than Kepa’s stats. hahah.
Overall I agree about the performance Lamps, although I was confused with the team set up in the last 10mins ish when we were going for the winner.

I agree. First half was pretty poor especially the mistakes but we still created chances that we missed and West Brom were clinical when punishing our defensive errors. I really liked Kai’s performance and I think that we’d be a much better team with Mount deeper using his energy all over the pitch and linking up with wingers who have a bit more pace. Every game that Timo goes without a goal worries me though, not because I have doubts about his ability but I think he needs a confidence boost. We all know what a striker without confidence can be like (Torres, Morata, Falcao etc)

It was one of those freak first half’s where we had no luck and they had plenty.
I was impressed with the character of the team and how they fought and made the comeback. We would 100% have lost that game last season!
I would rather we have these little hiccups early on in the season rather than later. Once the team gels and we can play our strongest starting eleven I think we will destroy a lot of teams. We have got a lot to be excited about in the future.

Am sorry I prob won't be backed up here but I really liked the mount and kai both playing as number 8's. And kante sitting deeper I know it's not using him to his potential but I think it uses mount and kai to theirs.

Couldn’t agree more jafinchy. I think Mount and Havertz together albeit for a short period of time looked the very good and I’ve always said Mount is more effective in the middle.
The point is, can Kante play like Maka (I’m far from convinced) or can we buy a player who can be another Maka? Doubtful.

Kante in that deep position isn’t his position but he will play it better than the other options, maybe 433 with kante and 2 no 8’s would suit us, Chilwell mendy pulisic ziyech need to come in ASAP, and I really didn’t think we would spend anymore but I think we will add some muscle or discipline to dm.
