For any of us worrying if Thiago Silva was still up to it, I think last night answered all of our questions.
Forget his age because he's still a top, top class CB. The way he reads the game, positions himself and then also has the calmness to play a pass out from the back. He's different class!
We just have to hope he can stay fit, because over the course of the season I can only see our defence improving all around with him in it.
Onto last nights overall game, it's a bit disappointing we didn't link up better attacking wise. But Sevilla are a very good team. So to start with a point and a clean sheet, it really isn't the worst result!
Onto Saturday and United now, c'mon Chelsea!
