Tom I agree with you about stats. Obviously goals for forwards is important. But as I always bang on about it’s who you score them against and the importance of the game that I look for.

Werner has played a lot more games than Vardy so stats can be misleading but 19 is a decent enough figure for someone having a poor season by his standards. Hoping he can hit form now he’s got his goal and really push on. An in form Werner is crucial for our top 4 push.

I find some of these stats a double edge sword. You can interpret different things based on how you see it.
But all in all, I think this shows that Werner has been involved in our goals more often than not, even though he's been misfiring a lot.

I think Timo Werner is undoubtably a very good player; for him to be racking up such stats and playing the way he’s doing in his low period tells that he’s a very good player.

I know the Ed doesn't really want to discuss speculation but I dare dream about the possibility of Chelsea signing Halaand in the th possible arrangements like offering or dormund demanding for a certain player in return. imo we should make this happen unlike some young super stars we allowed slip through our fingers because high asking price 55that later turned out to missing a trick. A thing with super star players is they eventually look a steal at any price paid the boy can score goals look ready made for the EPL. big, strong, fast and clinical. he could give us something special for more than 15years. my dream signings will be Halaand, Frank Jessie and marquinhos if psg will ever sell. but if I'm not mistaken we have been interested in him at a time if not nowbut don't know if we still maintain an interest. just your insights so I can dream on. i also imagine TT will likely want them too. i think it's time to invest in some established players to rob off on the the young talented players we already have to have a formidable squad under this proper manger now.
