Ok, just for the record again!

I do rate Rice and I would like us to sign him but I can't see the happy hammers letting him go and just for the Benefit of one poster I rate Rice as a player not because he is English.

I have defended Kante continuously as a top class player and human being even when some posters suggested he was passed it and should be sold.

I do NOT see Rice as a replacement for Kante.

I will NEVER take joy in any person getting the sack whatever there profession.

I did want Conte as our manager and I didn't want him to leave.

I didn't want Sarri as our manager (not football related) and I didn't want him to leave.

I did NOT want Lamps as our manager as I thought it was to soon in his career. I didn't want him to leave.

I didn't want TT appointed (not football related) . Happy that's being proved wrong.

All of the above managers have one thing in common, they all got and get, my 100% support.

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea are not interested in Rice. Lampard was the one interested.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks as always for the information Ed. Much appreciated.

Why didn't you want TT appointed.?

18 Mar 2021 12:28:35
Strangely Strasbourg, what started my reservations was a comment about TT falling out with people. I can’t remember who it was but in the back of my mind i think it was one of the Eds.

I then did some research on other sites and some stories from the press. That is why I was concerned. As I said, not for football reasons.

I’m very pleased to say my fears have not proven to be correct although I’m not a fan of comments about players made outside of the dressing room but that’s just a personal preference.

{Ed002's Note - He can be difficult to deal with for those he reports to.}

I do love it when your angry tomb especially the capitals
Calm down mate it's only banter IMO.

18 Mar 2021 12:34:57
Thanks again Ed for the clarification.

It was something along those lines. I hope that helps Strasbourg.

I’m so PLEASED gola.

Banter is always healthy along with different opinions IMO.

18 Mar 2021 13:07:48
Imo your probably right tomb.

I think it was reported that he and Leonardo had disagreements but that can happen and I am not so sure Leonardo was the easiest to deal with anyway.
He did make a comment about learning from his mistakes when he arrived so hopefully that will mitigate any major problems moving forward.
Fortunately I don't think the squad needs much attention overall and if our form continues I am sure the club will listen to his opinions on one or two signings.

{Ed001's Note - Tuchel also had problems at Mainz and Dortmund, so it is not just about Leonardo mate. That doesn't mean it will be the same at Chelsea, but it was not just about PSG.}

Thanks for the further colour Ed001 and as you say, what happened in the past may not happen at Chels.

18 Mar 2021 14:12:38
Thanks for clarifying Ed001.
I guess he knew before he signed up the lay of the land at Chelsea and accepted that and a short term contract which pleasantly surprised me.

{Ed001's Note - only time will tell how it will work out, as even leopards do change their spots (that is genuine as well, they are born with just spots, which develop into rosettes as they get older).}

18 Mar 2021 14:50:36
Would like to thank you for something i didn't know av9ut leopards Ed001 nice one to repeat over a beer or two down the pub when that's legalvagain so thank you for it as well as the TT info.

{Ed001's Note - things like that do stick in my head for some reason. I did even check it was correct before posting it, in case I was misremembering it. I never investigated it further, but I do wonder if you could judge the age of a leopard by the size and number of rosettes compared to just spots it has? Not that it has anything to do with football like but still! Glad it gave you something to talk about, I do often fear the art of conversation is dying in this world as most people I see when out are engrossed in their phone.}
