De Ligt would be a fantastic signing if it happens, would be a good move for Timo as well if he goes in the other direction.
ED01 what are your views on De Ligt as a player?
{Ed001's Note - honestly I am not a big fan from what I have seen of him. He is not the quickest and positionally suspect, but very good on the ball. As a defensive midfielder he is much better imo.}

I like the look of him Ed and he surely can’t have as bad positional sense in a four s Rudiger had?
{Ed001's Note - yeah but Rudiger had pace and aggression to make up for his lack of positional sense. De Ligt has technical ability on the ball as his key asset. He makes up for not being the best defensively by being excellent on the ball. There are very few defenders around who can do both to be fair.}

From what I've seen of him, admittedly not a vast amount I'd agree with your comments Ed. But would hope that scouts had watched him more thoroughly than me. And perhaps you have G8?

Yes de Ligt might well work well in a back 3 fuser.
