Cole Palmer is superb, he is everything I wanted Havertz to be. In hindsight I'd take Palmer every day of the week.

Thought we played pretty perfectly first half. Start of the second was definitely a mess with the gifted goal. No idea why Sterling took the penalty it 1000% should have been Palmer. Also should have been Sterling off instead of Mudryk for Chucky imo. Gallagher can’t play CM for me. So many times he committed himself in the centre of the park to try steal the ball and the Leicester player just went straight past him. Better opposition and that will be punished.
So so glad Petrovic has shown he’s a good solid keeper as Sanchez is definitely not good enough, would expect him to leave at the end of the season, another big mistake in the transfer market there.
Great win in the end, lots of positive performances but we need to start cutting out the basic mistakes and soon.

Great summary fuser, agree with all of that. Would add that Conor as captain should of stepped in and insisted Palmer takes the penalty. I liked the subs who came on and again, we are seeing the quality of our newly assembled squad, the project is coming together. As for Sterling, I thought he was very poor again today and I have been a big supporter of his but he must now make way for Carney on that left side. Mudryk must remain in the side as the 10 as he is far better than Conor in that position as is Enzo in the deeper position. With a fully fit squad Conor doesn't make the first 11.

G8, for reasons I won’t bore you with I have been out all day, and didn’t see the game. Very pleased with the result but surprised about the penalty. I assume that the penalty taker is nominated by the coach for a match and if someone else puts themselves forward the captain should enforce the decision.
