We need our forwards to start scoring, and regularly, beginning tomorrow night or we may miss out on top 4. can't always rely on a defender, a penalty or Mason to bail them out. Please let this start v Everton, and with a win.

It’s in our hands and we can ask no more at this stage of the season.

Let’s hope with give the toffees a thumping JBS but I will be very happy with a win no matter how it comes about.

Everton has a strong midfield and attack, it won’t be an easy game for Chelsea but I think Chelsea would be victorious. I think it’s one of those games that will come down to Chelsea taking its chances in the game, if we take our chances, we should be home and dry.
But I expect a master class performance from Kovacic and Jorginho tonight.

Honestly I don't expect them to start scoring in bunches at this stage if the season.

Timo Werner said in his interview that he would be happy with 10 league goals in his first season. He currently has 5 league goals.
I found this statement a bit concerning TBH. You want your forwards to have a lethal mentality. Like I'm going to score at least one goal each game I play.

A win would be fine at this point of the season.

Timo is a top player and shouldn’t doubt himself, I know it’s not easy but he will come good. My happiness about Werner is that when he’s not scoring, his contribution to the team is still immense; his runs and high pressing are a nightmare to defenders.
Although it’s quite difficult to be lightning quick and still have accuracy and intelligence at the same time.

At this stage a win over Everton by any means is first aim, but guess that many of us having had initial huge buzz while watching us dominating and beating Liverpool - certainly I did - have reflected (as Strasbourg suggested we should) and come down to earth a bit: LFC in historically worst home form ever, makeshift defense, midfielders having to play there, and we continue to klack crerativity, our forwards lack confidence. We could only put one goal past LFC despite their woes, ie no more than (with respect) a Brighton or a Fulham.

So am desperately hoping for Werner and Pulisic to be on score sheet again soon, as well as Abrahams if picked or OG (who did at least have that spectacular strike v Atletico) and much more regularly. Even the Spuds have kicked into some kind of attacking form, and formation. As did United v City, and City could have seven themselves if not shooting like a paralytic Annie Oakley. Everton far bigger threat than LFC right now, pose a considerable attacking threat given Calvert-Lewin now back fit alongisde Richarlison.

But a win tonight by any means and I will be buzzing in the moment again for sure!

I would love it if our attacking players scored more, but I think at this stage of the season, it's more than just confidence.
It's a strange season and lots of teams have had hard times to score goals but I think the confidence reason is only partially applicable.
Werner's style of play is a bit unsuited for PL and Pulisic only had a few good games last season. Abraham is doing just OK considering the time he has played and OG has been his usual self.

I think it's more of team thing that we score so little. Not sure what to do about it and I'm also skeptical that another young forward would be the answer.
