You are quoting TT out of context by taking a line from a comment he made about Pulisic. The summary of what TT’s comment about Pulisic means is that- he wants Pulisic to be a bit patient, his time will come when he will be starting games again.

I still find it strange that TT is not starting CP. i just hope it's not bad blood from their relationship at durtmund. i hope whatever is the case could be handled better for the good of the club.
Imo cp should start when fit. he's a player that can take on defenders like hazard did. Give him a run of games to return to form.

I'm with you Matt - I was surprised that TT keeps saying Pulisic is better from the bench just like at Dortmund - bad management, surely?
TT may think that but he shouldn't be saying it publicly - if I was Pulisic, I'd be telling TT where to go.

Ilo, on current form he should be starting over Ziyech but maybe he is nursing him back into the team after a series of injuries.

Pulisic need to get some new boots. All I've seen him do when he's played recently is slip over.

Well he hasn't done anything to merit a start. Mount, CHO and Havertz are deservedly in front of him.

Ilo, forgive me but I can't but help but make a rather long argument that nothing is to worry about. First, I don't think they have any bad relationship from their time at Dortmund. Rather the opposite, and you will have seen them hold each other's arms after matches and in breaks at times. Also, even your silly UK tabloid media has made up no stories. I do think and hope it is fair to take TT's words at face value: Pulisic's time will come. TT is just making sure every player is on board, hence, why Ziyech, Havertz, Mount, CHO have all got more time so far. Too, I think TT has a rep for nursing players and Pulisic was feeling something before Southampton I think (also keep in mind, Silva and Kante have both been managed very carefully) . And maybe it is a blessing in disguise even, if Pulisic can finally build long-term fitness and less injury prone, while other players can gain form and confidence to feel more intrisinsic to the squad (Havertz, Ziyech, Werner) . So all plenty of good reasons for TT to let Pulisic unfairly stay on the bench. I think he may start against Leeds actually, or substitute in for Havertz early, to rest him for Atletico.

Yea MDW it's all a shame but so predictable. I am suddenly now just hoping TT will make a clear statement to the stupid media to stop making up stories and to calm us fans down by giving CP a fair chance in the next game, or the one or two after Leeds at least. To make me feel assured. I am praying we won't see Captain America leave. Thankfully - and dare I say it - it seems unlikely at the moment.
