Agreed Matt. Have just been catching up with comments on this page after giving quite a few of my own on the Live Chat one duringbthe game which wad very disappointing.
For first time did not understand TT tactics or why we changed from back 3 or why no proper striker. Was he trying to find out which of our not scoring wingers come wingbacks might find form? Certainly Pulisic looked promising early on and CHO a couple of attacking moments late on, but all of us can see that we needed a designated striker on, if not OG (being saved for Atletico? ) Then Tammy if fit and Leeds type game might have suited him.
We created some pretty good chances but out shooting as dreadful as it usually has been recently. Our goal per game ratio dreadful.

Not sure either but pulisic snd ziyech in a 3421 don’t really seem to fit, I think I jinxed it, been talking for 4 days about is winning and other games teams dropping points.

Also thought that their open style and high press would suit the way TT had been setting up our team until today. But then we open up too and change formation and shape and end up quite lucky notvto lose. Our best shot was the ball that hit the Leefs defender and looped back onto their bar and into the keeper's hands.
Think TT's mind was on the Atletico
Game and that was why OG not brought on. But we should be getting far more goals with the quality of Pulisic, Havertz, Werner and CHO. Ziyech also showed sone promise earlier in tge seaso but now doesn't look as tgough he knows where or how he should be playing. One good pass and that was it. Oh well let's past Atletico. please!

Indeed Obinna question is how this can change. Am getting tired of that after match phrase 'we need to be more clinical'. of course it's true but how to make that improvement.
Who is coaching our strikers/ attackers in composure and technique or is it just a matter of confidence but then that might be helped hy better technique. All those one on ones or straight in front of the goal shots hhat esp. Werner has missed but so. many by others too.

Bringing a player in as a substitute can be tricky- sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t work. The truth is that if Werner or Giroud started that game (against Leeds United), I think we would have won or scored. I wasn’t happy with the starting line up, I feel there were too many players that had question marks about their performance starting against a good team away from home.
