Finally it seems boehly is changing the structure and the coach will have some control over the signings! Been a long time coming and now hopefully we won't get many random signings that don't fit the coaches style.
Also, no more Djilobodgis on deadline day! . hopefully.

Standard, it looks like TT will get more say on players coming in, could be a good thing but then it’s down to him. On the other hand, if things go wrong and he gets the push, the new coach has a bunch of players that doesn’t suit his style: swings and roundabouts.

Standard i am all for manager to have a say in transfers. But we should develop a consistent style and recruit players/ managers who suit it. Else what Jimbo said would become a problem in future.

Article said following Liverpool and Man City’s policy in which the managers make the decision in players, I’m not sure that’s the Liverpool way at all, I remember reading klopp didn’t want salah but someone else did, not sure about how city do things but pep seems to have a lot of control / say, I think with a manger having input is vital, having the manger make the final decisions just adds to pressure. That said players not performing leads to managers sacking either way,

Michae edwards leaving will be interesting for you guys, seemed to do a brilliant job? Yeah I knew there was something regarding klopp / salah, wasn’t klopp keen on Brandt before being persuaded about salah,
Chelsea sort of linked to Nunez and Liverpool really linked, how good is he, read he couldn’t trap a bag of cement, but what little I’ve seen is upgrade on what we have especially.
{Ed001's Note - personally I am not sure what Edwards did so well. Our wage bill shot up under him and he had to overpay in every deal. We couldn't get shot of lots of players we wanted out either, so what is so good about him?
Yes Klopp wanted Brandt.
I have only seem Nunez against Liverpool and he was a handful but he didn't stand out like Diaz did to me anyway. I think there are better players out there such as Nkunku.}

Edwards seemed to get a lot of the praise for signings,? Heard on talk sport few ex players saying what a big miss he will be. You worried about mane leaving? Mane scored some important goals, didn’t get number salah did but vital Diaz will be better no doubt.
{Ed001's Note - Edwards got the praise but he was only signing the players he was told to get. Completely unconvinced by him myself. I will miss Mane but I think he should have gone last summer personally.}
