Not only have Liverpool moved early in the window, United we're taking, Liverpool came in, agreed deal and it's almost completed. our deals seem to be dragged on, we're linked and close to kounde and tchoumeni for what seems 2 odd years, we need to move fast.

Liverpool have wanted Nunez for ages. Ed002 explained United basically agreed a fee and Liverpool stepped in, matched it and could offer UCL Football.
The window has been open less than a week, the takeover was two weeks ago and most players of note are on international duty. Pointless negativity helps no-one.

I’m sure we are working hard to sign players.
Even when we sign some players those players will not be deemed good enough for Chelsea by some supporters. It has been ever thus!

RJ, you’re right and officially the European window doesn’t open until 1st July. I’m not worried when we buy but who we buy: some of the players we have been linked fill me with dread especially as City have Haaland and the scousers have Nunez.

Pointless negativity, I’m talking about in recent years not weeks, how long had we wanted tchoumeni and kounde? I’m not expecting us to swoop in after a week and have players signed. Liverpool targeted a player and its close to being done, hats off.

Totally agree Matt don’t no why it takes so long to be fair and like the demeble and kounde deal they were supposed to be almost done last transfer window. What will be will be think it’s going to be tough few years.

Personally I do not want to sound negative but I still don't feel tge enthusiasm from the new owners and they have done nothing to inspire confidence in the fans. They should know that ra has set standards for us and we like to take the leads and don't mess around with players we want. Smooth operators.
Club's have options and should move to the next if the priority is possible. Priorities are set by individual clubs and may not be for the other clubs. U feel early business makes for better team bonding in the preseason.

Sanctions have delayed us massively, we know that, it’s well documented. Tchuemani is gone, forget about it. We lost major ground due to sanctions, nothing we can do about it.
Dembele can’t officially sign until 1st July. Kounde also can’t sign until the European window is open.
How do we know these deals aren’t in place? Just because they haven’t been announced yet doesn’t mean things aren’t being worked on.
You talk about transfers like we’re buying a sandwich. These are multimillion pound deals, why expect it to happen in a day. There’s a thing called patience!

We’re not talking like it being a sandwich we are discussing about it seems other clubs want someone and In two days it’s done. We don’t know how it works and neither do you we are just saying our opinions and thoughts that’s what the page is about, patience I think you need some.

In fairness petr had much more pressing matters such as preparing for and playing in football live aid and it looks like we are going to sign a young goalkeeper (who will no doubt be loaned out to a Spanish club and will then want to join them on a permanent basis)
